The content will span various genres and themes, catering to diverse interests, all carefully curated to match the student’s learning level and crafted by some of the best content and curricular experts in learning.

Leonardo analyzes each student's voice, sight and touch input, determining reading abilities, preferences, and challenges, then Leonardo adjusts the content and curriculum accordingly. This process guides each student’s unique learning experience to be aligned with their current skills and learning goals.

How does Leonardo Learning protect the safety of its users?

Safety is a central concern. We adhere to strict data privacy laws and employ military-grade security measures to protect the personal information of our users. The platform does not contain external links or advertisements, offering a safe and distraction-free learning environment.

I am concerned about using AI to teach my child. How do I know the software will not reach beyond its intended range or choose to teach my child something unapproved?

The parent is always completely in control. We acknowledge the current global dialogue surrounding artificial intelligence. Leonardo uses AI as a tool to help calculate data rather than employing AI as a core component. Leonardo is a closed system that is meticulously assembled with total human oversight. The potential for Leonardo to overstep its human design is about as likely as a toaster deciding one day to drive a car.

Is the platform accessible on multiple devices?

Yes. Leonardo is designed for flexibility and convenience. It will be accessible on a variety of devices, including tablets and computers, so the student can continue learning and reading anywhere, anytime.

Is the platform suitable for all early readers?

Leonardo is designed for a wide range of readers, from beginners to more advanced young readers. Whether a student is just beginning to recognize letters or already reading short stories, Leonardo will adapt to their level and help them expand their abilities.

What makes learning with Leonardo fun for children?

Parents can also receive regular updates and information on how to further support their child's reading at home.

Does the platform adapt to my child's changing reading levels?

Yes! Leonardo’s engine continuously monitors and evaluates the student’s reading abilities and progress in each session, on a phoneme and word level. As the student's skills develop, the platform dynamically adjusts the level of the material and the complexity of the tasks. This provides a consistent challenge that is perpetually appropriate for each student’s evolving reading level, keeping them engaged and motivated.

Can I get involved in my child's learning process on the platform?

We believe parental support is critical to a child's reading success and parental involvement is highly encouraged whenever possible. Leonardo will include features that allow parents to engage with their child's learning process. Parents will be able to access materials so they can read along with their child, discover methods for expanded and external reading activities, and use our parent dashboard to monitor progress and provide encouragement when needed. Each book features an accompanying learning guide for parents to help them engage with their child and extend the lessons as they choose.

How much time should my child spend on the platform each day?

We suggest a balanced approach with screen time and learning for early readers. Leonardo is designed to be effective even with short, regular sessions. About 15-30 minutes per Leonardo session can be beneficial, and this can vary depending on the student’s reading level.

Does Leonardo offer support for non-native English speakers and will Leonardo offer services in non-English languages?

We plan for Leonardo to focus on English when we launch. Our vision for global inclusivity drives our future goals to offer additional languages and support for non-native English speakers.

Will I be able to access Leonardo outside the United States?

We plan to launch Leonardo with availability in multiple territories.

My child has learning differences. Will they be able to use Leonardo?

Leonardo is specifically designed to identify and adapt to learning traits with the express goal of formulating content to meet the level of each student. We expect that a majority of students will be able to use the platform when we launch and we will expand adaptability over time to increase inclusiveness for all students, including those with speaking and visual variations.

When will Leonardo be available?

Our team is dedicated to creating the most robust, safe and beneficial early learning platform available. We are working with leading education, technology and content creation experts to ensure we adhere to all educational and ethical considerations, while developing content that is both engaging and fundamentally adaptable to any student. We plan to launch Leonardo by early 2025.
